Float

Most people float without clothes, as the room is completely private. Swimwear is fine if you prefer.

Our pools are open, with no lid and no pod, in a spacious private room. You can sit up or get out whenever you like.

Yes, and many people do. The water keeps you supported the whole time.

Infrared Sauna

Infrared warms you directly rather than heating the air, so it runs at a gentler 50–60°C and many people find it easier to stay in for longer.

A slow, gentle warmth that builds over the session. Most people find it deeply relaxing.

Many of our regulars come once or twice a week. Sauna Wellness gives you two sessions a month plus 30% off any extra ones.

It’s generally suitable for healthy adults. If you have a medical condition or take medication that affects how you handle heat, check with a healthcare professional first. If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding, please seek advice from your GP or healthcare professional before using the infrared sauna.

Health and safety

Floating and pregnancy massage (from the second trimester onwards) are often very welcome during pregnancy. Please speak to your midwife or GP first, and let us know when you book. If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding, please seek advice from your GP or healthcare professional before using the infrared sauna.

If you have epilepsy, a heart condition, low or high blood pressure, or anything you’re unsure about, check with your GP before booking and tell us when you arrive.

Salt water can sting freshly shaved skin, so avoid shaving on the day of a float. New tattoos need to be fully healed.

You need to be 18 or over to book. Under 18s can use our float and massage services if a parent or guardian is with them at all times.

Accessibility

We have a lift in the centre, and our massage beds can be lowered right down to make getting on and off easier. Call us before your visit if there’s anything else we can do.
